Training and Demonstration Center

SSHBHA has qualified training staff with experience in Technical and Vocational education and teaching persons with disabilities; and equipped with practical knowledge in organizing, executing and monitoring the skills training schemes.

SSHBHA has set up training and demonstration center (TDC) of its own in Addis Ababa and is expanding its program interventions to other regions of Oromiya, Amhara and SNNPR.  Currently SSHBHA is building its own training and demonstration center in Awassa after acquiring 2000m2 land from the municipality of the City lease free. The grant for the construction of the training center worth 3,350,000 (Three million three hundred and fifty Birr) is obtained from IEFA (Irish Ethiopian Friendship Association). The construction is in three phases and the first phase has been completed. The training center is composed of training hall, office, multipurpose hall, café and clinic. However, due to the economic crises that happened in Europe currently the construction of building already stop & the building blocks in some parts were crack.
